MRI EQUIPMENTS Our MRI systems are re-certified prior to shipment, which means the manufacturer will accept it for coverage under its own warranty or service plan We use factory-trained engineers for inspection, de-installation, refurbishing/remanufacturing, repair, and installation We are registered with the FDA as a medical device company. This means we must comply with strict standards for every piece of MRI equipment we buy, refurbish or resell Every MRI scanner is accredited through the American College of Radiation Accreditation for Magnetic Resonance Imaging Our process follows our strict standards as well as FDA guidelines, re-certification requirements, and protocols for accreditation from the American College of Radiology (ACR). This can be a painstaking process for us, simply because sometimes we'll never get past Step 1 with an MRI machine. If it doesn't pass our initial rigorous inspection, we walk away from that system, no matter good the price looks. Is it a waste of time? Absolutely not. While it's expensive for us to inspect a MRI system, we reject MRI systems with a problematic history or do not meet our strict standards and requirements. Often it means we're passing on a bargain-priced machine, but we know that eventually the cost and frustration of down-time and repair costs will negate any possible savings. Unfortunately these machines find their way on the market and some dealer is making a lot of money... and the customer is losing money. That's not who we are. Here's what we do: Inspection: Every MRI unit we consider for purchase goes through a rigorous pre-purchase inspection. This is a key step... a historically problematic MRI system will likely cause headaches in the future. Sometimes today's "bargain" is tomorrow's "wish I hadn't done that". De-installation: Manufacturer-trained engineers carefully remove the system from its old site and prepare it for its new life elsewhere. The MRI machine is disassembled down to its component level and fully tested. Each component is accepted, repaired, or replaced to meet manufacturer's specifications. Re-certification: The machine is then re-certified to be accepted by the manufacturer for warranty coverage. Financing: Our leasing experts can help you get the best rates quickly and easily. Logistics: The MRI is carefully packaged and shipped to its destination, installed, and tested. RF Shielding/Magnetic Shielding: The room and facility are inspected, tested, and ensured for proper Magnetic and RF shielding Rigging: Proper rigging of the magnet is performed by an experienced rigging professional Accreditation: Technicians have the MRI accredited by the ACR. Applications and Training: Applications specialists train the facility's technicians on their new MRI imaging machine. Warranty: Every STF MRI machine is fully warranted and covered by STF . Extended Service Coverage: STF offers significant savings over the manufacturer on service contracts. However, because the MRI has been re-certified, the manufacturer will also offer its own extended service contracts. The choice is yours. • About | STF

Who We Are STF was opened in 2014 by expert technician. Their business model was to provide competent, reliable service and repair of capital medical machines. STF techs were so often asked by their service customers about which equipment was reliable to purchase that they made the natural progression to refurbish and sell equipment; eventually branching out into more and more types of equipment as their experience grew. Whether you are looking to purchase an MRI or CT scanner, or need a full turn-key installation of both, we look forward to the opportunity to serve those needs. Post installation warranty and annual service contracts are also available and are an important part of the ongoing support we offer our clients. Our equipment capabilities range from single replacement devices to the complete outfitting of surgery centers and other medical facilities. At the heart of things, we remain a service company. We aren’t the largest but we may be the best. Jason M. Moore Director/CEO Jason M. Moore is the Ceo and director of STF . He founded MedTech in 2014, after working as a neurologist in the US military for several years. He went on to gain a number of medical equipment qualifications, including Medical Gas Maintenance Personnel. He also finished various courses that needed a final test, such as the IPMM/SCR seminar, technical service basic and advanced seminars, Fabius GS seminar, Narkomed Mobile, and so on. He also achieved the NAD Service Classification of Senior Technical Representative. Subscribe to get exclusive updates Email* Join Our Mailing List I want to subscribe to your mailing list.

  • Medical Equipment Installation  | STF

OUR INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE PROCESS You can be an expert or have zero experience with MRI machines and CT systems. It really doesn't matter because we will never drop off an MRI or CT scanner and say, "Here you go! Have fun!" Instead, we provide one-on-one technical assistance to ensure that, by the time we leave, you can start scanning patients and produce superb results. CT SCANNER INSTALLATION PR EP Purchasing a CT scanner is a cause for celebration and shouldn’t be a cause for more stress or work. As such, we feature two basic options when preparing the installation. You can essentially choose your level of involvement with the options below. Option #1: We do almost all the preparation work. We come to your site and confirm the necessary logistics of the scanner's installation, including: Measuring and verifying the square footage of the planned CT exam roo m Measuring doorways, hallways, etc, to ensure the system can be transported to the exam room Making sure the room has the proper electricity available Verifying the exam room's temperature and humidity levels Coordinating any necessary modifications if the exam room is not optimized for your new CT scanner In the above situation, you pay a little extra but avoid the headaches involved with the installation's management. Option #2: We guide you through the upfront logistics to verify your space is optimized for the device’s installation, then we deliver it. Making full use of emails and phone calls, we provide step-by-step instructions to ensure that the system's operating requirements correspond with your site (see bullet points above). If the CT exam room lacks certain requirements, we'll provide easy-to-follow instructions to get the room fully prepped. MRI MACHINE INSTALLATION PREP The process of preparing the installation of an MRI machine at your facility is very similar to the steps we outlined above for CT scanners. However, MRI exam rooms need MRI shielding in order to function properly and safely. As such, for an MRI installation, we will need to inspect your exam room’s current MRI shielding to ensure it is still high quality. If your facility does not already have an MRI shielded exam room, don’t worry! Our team can help arrange MRI shielding installation in any room at your facility. The MRI shielding we provide is the most robust in the industry; we offer: Modular enclosures capable of fitting almost any space Expandable enclosures for future expansions Various interior finishes We’ll arrange the whole shielding process, including enclosure installation, power and telephone filters, shielded doors, cryogen RF waveguide pipes, copper ground plates, and much more!
